Secondary Performance - Governor and Headteacher Briefing

Using Analyse School performance, the Ofsted Inspection Data Summary Report , Fischer Family Trust (FFT) Aspire and FFT Collaborate to identify strengths and areas for development - an opportunity for delegates to explore their own school data.

Secondary Performance - Governor Briefing

Using Analyse School performance (ASP), the Ofsted Inspection Data Summary Report (IDSR), Fischer Family Trust (FFT) Aspire and FFT Collaborate to identify strengths and areas for development - an opportunity for delegates to explore their own school data.

The session will briefly outline some headlines from the East Sussex data, then focus upon some key features of these three sources of data analysis. Delegates will then explore their own data and begin considering if current school priorities align with the evidence from performance data.

Delegates will also consider the opportunities presented by the:

  • Question Level Analysis (QLA) functionality in ASP – where schools can see how their pupils have performed against specific questions or topics on Key Stage 2 test papers (we intend to briefly demonstrate this tool).
  • FFT Edit Pupil List functionality – where pupils can be removed from the school data, to see the impact their performance has had on overall performance. We are not intending to rehearse the process here – more to raise the profile of the tool and its possibilities).

Please bring with you:

  • ASP Summary Report
  • Ofsted Inspection Data Summary Report (IDSR)
  • FFT Aspire KS4 school dashboard for governors and school leaders. When logged in these can be found in the downloads section under ‘Quick Access’ on the homepage.
