Staff benefits for new starters

With the start of the new term, don't forget to let any new starters know about ESCC staff benefits.

With a new term beginning, don't forget to let new starters know about the staff benefits available to them.

ESCC's staff benefits site, My Staff Shop, contains a variety of offers and discounts to help you save on gifts, groceries and much more:

  • Supermarkets – save at Sainsburys, Morrisons, Tesco, Waitrose and Asda
  • Department stores including Argos, John Lewis, Debenhams and Amazon
  • Major cinema chains including Odeon and Cineworld
  • Restaurants including Ask Italian, Brewer’s Fayre, Nando’s, Pizza Express and more!

The site is available to all directly employed, contracted staff, with new starters automatically given access shortly after they receive their first monthly salary payment. This means that staff commencing in January should be able to register on the site no later than Monday 4 February.

Please direct colleagues to the 'Employee benefits platform' page of the Webshop. This page is open content, so employees can view it on any device.

You may also remember that in September, we sent out packs of membership cards to schools. The membership card can be used to save money at over 50 national retailers, so if you haven't done so already, please make these available to colleagues in your school.

If you would like to know more about the benefits site, a representative from My Staff Shop will be attending the Bursar’s and Business Manager’s Conference on 31st January. If you’re planning to attend, do come and have a chat!

Please note: The ESCC benefits site is only available to staff working directly for the council, and is not available to academies employees.
