The Working Time Policy has been updated. This Policy sets out the requirement for teachers in maintained schools in relation to the amount of time to be worked and the days upon which will be worked.
The Working Time Policy has been updated and sets out the requirement for teachers in maintained schools in relation to the amount of time to be worked and the days upon which it will be worked by a teacher is the subject of direction by the Headteacher made under the School Teachers Pay and Conditions Document (STPCD).
This document replaces the original policy published in 2007.
This policy applies to all teachers in maintained schools where the Governing Body has adopted the policy (subject to any amendments the Governing Body may have made in adopting it).
The updated policy has been the subject of consultation with the regional trade unions.
