Teen Wellbeing Bags through the library service

The library service is offering free Teen Wellbeing Bags for schools to borrow - suitable for ages 11-18.

Wellbeing bags aim to enhance the physical, mental and emotional wellbeing of young adults aged 11-18. They include information and activities suitable for individual or group use and can be borrowed by schools on a long term loan.

The bags include a pedometer, recipe cards, stress ball, mindfulness activities including a journal, activity cards and colouring, a stress ball, Teen Breathe Magazine, Mind advice booklets and a copy of 'Mind Your Head' by Juno Dawson. The bag also contains a booklet of leaflets covering various teen related health information including student life and sexual health.

The bags are being launched in September and will be available to all schools to borrow on a termly basis, either to put in their school libraries for individual use or to use with groups of students. They will also be available to borrow from East Sussex libraries.
